Fall Chef Series Classes
More than one hundred students have now been “schooled” in the North Market’s Chef Series cooking classes in the Dispatch Kitchen. The feedback from pupils and chefs alike has been glowing and we are continuing the classes. We are currently enrolling for the Fall Evening Chef Series classes. The events are designed as demonstration classes where participants watch as the chef prepares a special meal and then get to share in the delicious results.

Come to the North Market for a Saturday of farm-fabulous activity with the 17th Annual Farmers’ Festival on Saturday, August 16th. The North Market will host its seventh celebration of Ohio’s finest wines and great foods to pair with them during the weekend of July 11th-13th.

Grillmasters Festival June 21
On Saturday, June 21st, the North Market will celebrate our favorite method of summer cooking - grilling - with the third annual Grillmasters Festival. The day will include an amateur barbeque sauce contest, grilling demonstrations and sampling, a chef cook-off, live music and kids’ activities.

North Market establishes Artisan Sundays
The North Market prides itself on being residence to dozens of locally owned and operated small businesses. Meanwhile, the city of Columbus is home to scores of home-based artisans and crafters who are constantly seeking outlets for their craft. They peddle their works through local shops like Wholly Craft in Clintonville, websites like Etsy.com and various festivals around town including a couple at the North Market. Based on the success of previous craft events, the North Market has launched Artisan Sundays to give these creative Columbus citizens a regular outlet for their inspired output. Artisan Sundays will be held on the Farmers’ Market plaza at the North Market from 12 – 5 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month from May through October.
