Grillmasters Festival this weekend at North Market

There will be smoke...and fire!

Join us at the North Market this weekend for the fifth annual Grillmasters Festival! You will find a tantalizing array of tasty and tongue-tingling sauces, salsas and rubs from our guest vendors on Saturday and Sunday. Your favorite farmers will be on hand with fresh produce on Saturday too. Then, look for some of our local artisans to join the crew on Sunday with their handmade wares. Grilling demonstrations and live music all weekend.

There is still space available in the Amateur BBQ Sauce Contest on Saturday as well as the Salsa Fresco Contest on Sunday. Email info@northmarket.com today to register. Walk-ins accepted as space is available.

Saturday, May 29
• 8 a.m., Farmers Market opens
• 9 – 11 a.m., music by BeJae Fleming
• 9 a.m., Cooking demonstration by John Hard of CaJohn’s Flavor & Fire
• 10 a.m., Amateur BBQ Sauce Contest
• 11 a.m., Cooking demonstration by Steve Lawrence of CaJohn’s Flavor & Fire
• 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., music by Island Breeze Duo
• 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., Columbus Dog Connection foster parents with adoptable dogs
• 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., balloons by Dr. Silverfoot
• 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Mark Wood’s Cowboy Fun Show
• 12 p.m., Thrilla at the Grilla, Janel Hedgepeth (Latitude 41) vs. John Skaggs (Two Caterers). Two chefs face off for the title “Baron(ess) of BBQ”
