Meet David.
He’s a scooter-riding trivia whiz who spends the better part of each and every day evaluating, recommending and selling a vibrant selection of hundreds of wines and beers from around the corner and across the world.
What’s his recipe?
Listening carefully to his customers before making what most say is a stellar recommendation.
His inspiration?
The legacy of the Market and the shop’s previous owners, his dog and his wife (not necessarily in that order). All give him a pure devotion for good food and well-crafted wine and instilled the belief that wine should be an everyday beverage instead of an elitist institution.
His latest adventure?
Planning trips far and wide to places like California and Belgium for research the flavor field. That, and cooking up culinary creations of his own for his new bride.
Where can you find him?
Next to the elevator, diagonally across from Curds and Whey, answering questions on many topics, tracking down special requests and doling out free advice any day of the week.
