Meet CaJohn & Sue.
They’re both fire born and bred. She’s from the Mississippi coast. He’s a former fire protection engineer. Together, they’re the hottest peppery provisions purveyors north of the delta with more than 300 awards and accolades to prove it.
What’s their recipe?
A little of this, a little of that, but mostly a healthy obsession with careful preparation using the finest ingredients, including their own fresh chilies.
Their inspiration?
CaJohn’s snazzy chili-pepper-and-flames garb, a wild imagination and their all-time favorite fruit, the chili pepper.
Their latest adventure?
Working with the world’s hottest new chili pepper, and anticipating the next fiery food competition.
Where can you find them?
On the Vine Street end of the Market, across from The Barrel and Bottle, next to Bluescreek Farm Meats. Offering over 180 all-natural, preservative-free items, replenishing the tasting bar and cooking up CaJohn-style soups, chili, jambalaya and whatever else strikes their fancy.
