She’s a north market icon as wholly and equally devoted to keeping jars of gourmet coffee, tea and candies chockfull as she is to creating customer connections.

What’s her recipe?
Contemporary meets nostalgia. Case in point: a brand-spanking-new, sustainable coffee bar locally sourced and constructed juxtaposed with her legacy as “Chicken Annie,” the granddaughter of North Market poultry purveyors.

Her inspiration?
Everything. Thanks to an intuitive, imaginative and independent spirit. (That’s a Pisces for you.)

Her latest adventure?
Indulging customers’ java addictions at the aforementioned coffee bar and mulling over what’s next while staying true to her focus on fair trade and organics.

Where can you find her?
Smack dab in the middle of the Market between Pastaria Seconda and Market Blooms. Scooping up coffee by the pound seven days a week.
