Farmers' Market

The North Market Farmers' Market is one of the oldest and largest in Central Ohio, featuring more than 20 farmers offering an array of locally-grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, honey and herbs. Every Saturday throughout the growing season, Ohio farmers bring their fresh-picked produce to North Market, where customers are able to purchase directly from the local farms selling the highest-quality products from their fields.

Here are the farms that will be onsite Saturday, July 1:

Anderson Orchard – Assorted unusual and exotic plants, Asian pear butter, freshly-cut flowers including hydrangeas, crocosmia and zucchini bread.

Black Raspberry Farm – Black raspberries and freeze-dried black raspberry powder.

Blueberried Alive! – Blueberries!

Boline Apothecary – Herbal remedies, herbal body care and herbal tonics.

Box O’ Heat - Fire bricks to use as starters in fire pits or fireplaces, all made from 100% natural and recycled materials, packaged to go in cleverly-themed boxes.

Glenn Avenue Soap – Natural foaming hand soaps, locally-sourced beer soaps labeled to feature the brewery, cold-pressed bar soaps, body butters, lotions, facial care items and a complete line of children’s products.

Great Oak Growers – Microgreens growing in flats can be purchased in large or small amounts.  Varieties include sunflower, pea, radish and salad mixes.  Also available, fresh herbs, starter plants, heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers. 

Harriet Gardens - Kale, collards, arugula, chard, basil, carrots, fresh herbs, foraged edibles such as lamb’s quarter and purslane.

Honeyrun Farms – Locally-sourced honey, infused/comb/chunk honey, lip balms, salves, handcrafted soaps, honey sticks and beeswax candles.

Jorgensen Farms – New to the North Market Farmers’ Market this year!

Pristine Valley Farm – Asparagus, assorted greens, maple syrup, green onions, kale, green beans, spinach, Swiss chard, mizuna, arugula and cherry tomatoes.

Procter Center – Potted herbs, including sage, basil and dill, as well as fresh lettuce and new radishes.

Quiver Full Family Farm - Returning for the season this Saturday!

The Compost Exchange - A food waste recycling service.  Sign up and learn about drop-off locations. Food waste will be given to local urban farms to make healthy, soil-enriching compost.

Thomas Family Farm – Returning for the season this Saturday with apples and peaches!

Tiger Mushroom Farms – Fresh shiitake mushrooms, gray, pink and yellow oyster mushrooms, as well as oyster mushroom kits.

Wishwell Farms – Locally-grown greenhouse tomatoes, kale, maple syrup, homemade salsas and relishes, zucchini, yellow squash and raspberries.

Heartland Herbs - Homemade dry mixes to take home and prepare fresh dips, soups, rubs, breads and bread bowls.

Mrs. Turbo’s Cookies - All natural gourmet cookies and treats made from scratch daily using only the finest ingredients.

Nature’s Honey Tree - Pure raw honey, maple syrup, bee pollen and beeswax candles.

Olde Man Granola – Gourmet granola packaged and sealed in assorted-size bags.

Possum Products – Handcrafted wooden toys, a large assortment for a many age groups.

3rd Course Bakery – Artisanal gluten-free cupcakes made with locally-grown, organic ingredients.

Shady Grove Farms Bedding plants, potted herbs, fresh produce, jams and jellies, baked goods and fresh eggs.

Shady Lane Farm - Alpaca goods, including dryer balls, sweaters, socks, fiber, fiber tools and jewelry.

Simply Sweet Bakery – Homemade cookies, pies and cakes, all made from scratch, containing no preservatives.  This Saturday, if peaches are available: Fresh peach pie, made while you wait!

SoBaby Jam Co. – Organic-certified chunky-style applesauce, many jams and jellies, including a bell pepper jalapeno cooking jam “with moonshine,” mulberry and black raspberry jam.
